AUBURN, NY — A woman was arrested after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on April 17.
Asset protection staff at the store on Grant Avenue called police to report they had detained a shoplifter.
Officers responded and learned that Alexis Burke, 22, of Auburn, was in custody for stealing.
Burke had previously been trespassed from the Walmart location.
She was transported to Auburn Police Department headquarters where she was processed on one count of burglary in the third degree and petit larceny.
Burke was then transported to Cayuga County Jail where she was released after arraignment.
