HARTFORD, CT — Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a September homicide on Main Street.
Jayshawn Johnson, 20, of Hartford, was taken into custody without incident on the evening of April 21 by members of the Hartford Police Patrol Division.
Johnson is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, carrying a pistol without a permit and reckless endangerment in the first degree.
Officers originally responded to reports of a male shot in the area of 3340 Main Street on Sept. 27, 2025.
The victim, Isaiah Ahkeen-Molina, 20, of Hartford, was found suffering from a gunshot wound and transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Detectives developed Johnson as a suspect through the course of the investigation.
An arrest warrant was approved by a Superior Court judge.
Johnson was transported to the Hartford Police Detention Facility for processing.
He is being held on $1,250,000 bond.
