Search warrant executed in Plympton

PLYMPTON, MA — The Plympton Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Parsonage Road on April 17, 2026, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

The investigation originated from a motor vehicle stop conducted by a Plympton Police officer and subsequently developed into a three-month investigation involving surveillance, intelligence gathering, and coordinated investigative efforts.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers seized approximately 449 grams of suspected cocaine, $13,040 in United States currency, assorted Xanax bars, and additional items consistent with the packaging and distribution of narcotics.

Nicholas Thatcher, of Plympton, was arrested and charged with trafficking in cocaine (more than 200 grams), possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, and possession of a Class C substance.

The Plympton Police Department was assisted by the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, and the Kingston Police Department.
