Search warrant executed in Holyoke leads to trafficking charges

HOLYOKE, MA — A joint investigation by Massachusetts State Police CINRET West and the Holyoke Police Narcotics Unit resulted in the seizure of trafficking quantities of suspected cocaine and fentanyl.

Investigators executed a search warrant in Holyoke at approximately 3:10 p.m. Tuesday.

The search yielded approximately 1,050 grams of suspected cocaine, 350 bags of suspected fentanyl and $360 in U.S. currency, according to Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan.

Aneudy Lopez-Santos, 44, of Holyoke, was arrested and transported to the State Police Northampton Barracks for booking.

Lopez-Santos is charged with trafficking of a Class B substance, subsequent offense, and possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug.

The investigation was conducted under the direction of Detective Lieutenant Rafael Cazares.
