FLETCHER, VT — A 50-year-old man was arrested on domestic assault charges after state police responded to a residence on April 21, 2026.
Vermont State Police responded to the residence at approximately 3:06 p.m. for a report of an assault.
Through investigation, police determined that Jeremy Ayotte, 50, of Fletcher, caused pain and fear to a household member.
Ayotte was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police St. Albans barracks for processing.
Ayotte was charged with domestic assault and committing an offense in the presence of a child.
At the conclusion of processing, Ayotte was released with a citation to appear at Franklin County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on April 22 to answer to the charges.
