PORT JEFFERSON, NY — State Police have arrested two men in separate investigations involving child sexual abuse material.
James G. Fisk, 68, of Port Jefferson, was arrested April 9, 2026, after investigators executed a search warrant at a residence in Port Jefferson.
Fisk was charged with five counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child.
In a separate investigation, Jeffrey R. Bergida, 63, of Melville, was arrested April 15, 2026, following an investigation by the State Police Troop L Computer Crimes Unit.
Bergida was charged with five counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child.
Both investigations were initiated following investigative leads, according to state police.
