JAMESTOWN, NY — A city man was arrested early Sunday after police say he threatened a woman with a kitchen knife during a domestic incident.
Xavier L. Perry, 23, of Jamestown, was charged with menacing in the second degree following the incident on the city’s west side.
Police responded to the domestic call just after midnight.
Officers determined Perry held a knife in his hand and lunged toward a female victim, causing her to fear injury, according to police.
Perry was taken into custody and held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
