Gunshot victim found after shots fired in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, PA — Harrisburg Police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager injured Saturday night.

Officers were in the Hall Manor Community at about 8:45 p.m. when they heard shots fired.

Police immediately responded to the area and observed an individual fleeing on foot.

Officers lost sight of the individual and were unable to relocate them.

A discarded pistol was found in the individual’s flight path.

A 17-year-old male gunshot victim later approached officers.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
