MILTON, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance call Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at 23 Trieble Ave.
Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Richard C. Craft, 61, of Amsterdam, for five counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and assault in the third degree.
Craft is accused of intentionally causing physical injury to another person by striking them in the chest.
The Sheriff’s Office was court ordered to search Craft’s vehicle, leading to the discovery of a loaded unregistered pistol, switchblade knife, collapsible baton and two sets of metal knuckles.
The weapon charges were upgraded to felonies as Craft had allegedly previously been convicted of a crime.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Timothy M. Brown in the Milton Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
