Man arrested on stolen vehicle charge in East Lansdowne

EAST LANSDOWNE, PA — A Philadelphia man was arrested early Thursday morning after police discovered him driving a stolen vehicle.

Steven Lemar Marsh, 48, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody in the 1000 block of Baltimore Avenue at approximately 1:21 a.m. on April 15, 2026.

Officers Bhavin Patel and Stephen Mengini were on patrol when they discovered a stolen Buick Envista.

Police conducted a felony vehicle stop and identified Marsh as the operator of the stolen vehicle.

Marsh was driving with a suspended license, according to police.

A search incident to arrest discovered marijuana and suspected PCP, police said.

Marsh was charged with receiving stolen property, driving while operating privileges are suspended or revoked, and possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use.

He was arraigned and failed to post 10 percent of $10,000 bail.

Marsh was committed to George W. Hill Correctional Facility.
