HARTWICK, NY — An 86-year-old woman was arrested April 7, 2026, following a trespass complaint, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Carol L. Jabonaski, of Adirondack, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator and operating without insurance.
Investigators determined Jabonaski unlawfully entered a dwelling and caused a disturbance in the presence of a minor, according to the sheriff’s office.
Jabonaski drove to and from the scene with a suspended New York State driver’s license, according to the sheriff’s office.
The vehicle she was operating had no current insurance on file, according to the sheriff’s office.
Jabonaski was issued appearance tickets to appear in Hartwick Town Court at a later date.
