MAYFIELD, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer and a car on State Highway 29 near County Highway 158 at 10:07 p.m. Monday.
Authorities reported a fuel spill and entrapment at the scene.
Only minor injuries were reported in the crash.
The Fulton County HazMat team was notified to respond to the fuel spill.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was placed on standby at their station.
The Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department was requested to shut down State Highway 29 at Steele Avenue Extension.
The Fulton County Emergency Management Office, police and Lake Valley EMS also responded to the scene.
