LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Trenton man was arrested April 9 after allegedly stealing chicken wings from Wegmans and fleeing from police.
Police responded to a retail theft in progress at 1:56 p.m. in the 900 block of Vansant Drive.
Loss Prevention reported an unknown male removed $68.28 worth of hot chicken wings without paying.
When police approached the male, he fled on foot and a foot pursuit ensued.
The 28-year-old male from Trenton, New Jersey, was apprehended and taken into police custody.
He was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and false identification to law enforcement.
He was arraigned by Judge Kronnagel and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000/10% bail.
A records check revealed he had a felony warrant out of New Jersey.
