JAMESTOWN, NY — Two women were arrested following a physical altercation on the city’s east side early Saturday morning.
Officers from the Third Platoon of the Jamestown Police Department responded to a residence at approximately 4:47 a.m. for a reported fight.
An investigation determined that Samaria J. Cruz and Marilyn J. Freeman engaged in a physical altercation that caused injuries to both parties.
Both women were taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
Cruz and Freeman are each charged with assault in the third degree.
