Two arrested on drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Two men were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on April 3, 2026.

Officers conducted the traffic stop around 7:27 p.m. in the area of Water Street near King Street after observing traffic infractions.

Police identified the occupants as Jeffrey M. Kolb and Jemal Turner.

An investigation revealed both men were in possession of fentanyl, according to police.

Both were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Kolb was also found to have an outstanding warrant from the West Seneca Police Department.

Kolb was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree in addition to the outstanding warrant.

Turner was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and issued traffic citations.

Both men were booked at the Jamestown City Jail and issued appearance tickets to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
