Suspect sought in check fraud investigation in Greece

GREECE, NY — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to multiple fraud cases involving stolen and altered checks.

The Greece Police Department said the suspect has been involved in the theft, fraudulent washing and cashing of checks at various local banks on several occasions.

The incidents are under investigation as grand larceny, identity theft and forgery.
