JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested early Sunday morning following a motor vehicle accident on the city’s southside.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon responded to the scene at approximately 3:20 a.m. on March 22, 2026.
Upon arrival, officers observed Ethan M. McCray sitting in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with front-end damage.
An investigation determined that McCray was operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated.
McCray was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se.
McCray was released on an appearance ticket.
