Two arrested on drug charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Two men were arrested on drug charges after a search warrant was executed at an apartment on Hazeltine Avenue on March 23, 2026.

Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Investigators executed the search warrant at 210 Hazeltine Avenue upper apartment at about 9:30 a.m. with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team.

Krysatfur J. Bowman and Kyante R. Pearson were located inside the residence and were detained by the SWAT team without incident.

After the residence was secured, detectives searched it and located 188.4 grams of cocaine, $1,201 cash, digital scales, packaging material and cutting agents.

Detectives also located 5.9 grams of fentanyl and 10.3 grams of crack cocaine on Pearson’s person.

While being transported to the Jamestown City Jail, Bowman removed 19.4 grams of fentanyl, which was secreted inside his body, and attempted to conceal it in the back seat of a Jamestown Police Department patrol vehicle.

Bowman was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence.

Both Bowman and Pearson were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Fire Department.
