Man arrested on domestic incident charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested after allegedly damaging property during a domestic dispute on the north side of the city.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon responded to a residence at about 3:47 p.m. March 24, 2026, for a report of a domestic incident.

Through investigation, officers determined that Robert Kennedy damaged property of another person during the course of a domestic dispute.

Kennedy was advised by police that he was under arrest.

Kennedy actively resisted arrest, according to police.

Officers took Kennedy into custody after a brief struggle.

Kennedy is being charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and resisting arrest.

Kennedy is being held pending his arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
