Man arrested on weapons, drug charges in Huntingdon Valley

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A 59-year-old man faces multiple weapons and drug charges following a traffic stop on March 23, 2026.

Michael Anthony Whitehead, of Pennsylvania, was stopped at Philmont Avenue and Manor Road due to an inoperable headlight, according to police.

Whitehead was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

During the investigation, officers located drugs, drug paraphernalia and a firearm inside the vehicle, police said.

Whitehead was charged with possession of a firearm prohibited, firearms not to be carried without a license, two counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, two counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
