THORNTON, NH — Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a person with serious injuries on Upper Mad River Road.
Attorney General John M. Formella, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Mark B. Hall, and Thornton Police Department Chief Daniel J. Gilman announced the investigation.
Investigators with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit, the Thornton Police Department, and the Campton Police Department are responding to the incident.
The exact circumstances of the shooting remain under active investigation.
All parties have been identified and there is no known threat to the general public at this time.
