Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Belmont

BELMONT, MA — A 16-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Concord Avenue and Winter Street on June 8, 2026.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:09 p.m. when multiple callers reported the collision to Belmont Communications.

The pedestrian was transported to Children’s Hospital Boston by the Belmont Fire Department with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers and firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene following the reports.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Traffic was temporarily rerouted during the investigation but has since returned to normal.

The accident remains under investigation by the Belmont Police Department.
