HORNELL, NY — Police arrested a woman Thursday after she allegedly stole merchandise from Walmart.
Avery L. Grusendorf, 22, of Alfred Station, was taken into custody without incident on May 15, 2026.
The City of Hornell Police Department responded to the Walmart store for a report of a larceny.
An investigation revealed that Grusendorf allegedly stole merchandise from the store.
She was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Grusendorf was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Hornell City Court at a later date.
