HALFMOON, NY — A man accused of stealing more than $3,000 from a Rite Aid store while employed there was arrested Wednesday on a warrant.
Anthony L. Howell Jr., 34, of the Bronx, was charged with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said Howell stole the money from the Rite Aid in Halfmoon on April 24, 2021.
Howell was arrested Tuesday by the NYPD on an unrelated charge and was turned over to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
He was arraigned before Judge Katherine Suchocki in Halfmoon Town Court and released to pretrial services.
Howell was then turned over to the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office on a separate warrant.
