HALFMOON, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash Wednesday at 11:55 p.m. on state Route 146.
Investigation into the collision resulted in the arrest of Charles J. Wall III, 57, of Mechanicville, for driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Wall is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.
He allegedly refused the chemical test.
Wall was also charged with having an unregistered motor vehicle, speed not reasonable and prudent, moving from lane unsafely and refusing to take a prescreen breath test at the request of a police officer, all infractions.
His vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck a snowbank.
There were no injuries reported and no other vehicles involved.
Wall was released on appearance tickets at the direction of the Honorable Katherine Suchocki of the Halfmoon Town Court pending proceedings in that court.
