GOFFSTOWN — A Goffstown man forced entry into the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s building and assaulted two dispatchers before fleeing Saturday afternoon, police said.
Cory Nickerson entered the secured building at approximately 3:45 p.m. Aug. 9 by following an employee through a secured door, according to the Goffstown Police Department.
Nickerson physically assaulted two dispatchers inside the building and then fled the area, police said.
Goffstown police officers responded and attempted to stop Nickerson in his vehicle.
Nickerson led police on a short pursuit before officers discontinued the chase for safety reasons, according to police.
Police applied for and were granted a warrant for Nickerson on multiple charges including two counts of simple assault, two counts of disobeying an officer, criminal threatening, false imprisonment, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and negligent driving.
Nickerson is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 11 at the 9th Circuit Goffstown-District Division Court.
