WOODSTOCK — A 32-year-old man was arrested Aug. 7 in connection with sexual assaults in Weathersfield and Hartland.
Michael R. Reed, formerly of Weathersfield and currently residing in Keene, New Hampshire, was taken into custody by Windsor County Sheriff Ryan Palmer.
The investigation began June 2 after the Springfield Police Department notified authorities about a sexual assault in Weathersfield.
Reed was also identified as a suspect in a separate sexual assault and domestic assault case in Hartland involving another victim.
He was arraigned the same day in Windsor County Court in Woodstock and is being held without bail at Southern State Correctional Facility.
Reed is a registered sex offender.
