HALFMOON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active larceny call Sunday at 5:50 p.m. at Walmart in the town of Halfmoon.
Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Giovanna M. Vardine, 35, of Albany, for grand larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony.
Vardine is accused of stealing merchandise from the business that had a value which exceeded $1,000.
She was arraigned before the Honorable Joseph V. Fodera in the Halfmoon Town Court and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail pending further proceedings.
