ENOSBURG — A 39-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly confronting and pursuing ATV riders in a pickup truck early Sunday morning.
Kaiser Coons of Enosburg attempted to confront ATV riders on Tyler Branch Road at approximately 12:08 a.m. July 20, according to Vermont State Police.
The ATV riders left the scene, but Coons began pursuing them in a pickup truck, police said.
The pursuit lasted for an extended period and included erratic behavior from Coons toward the ATV riders, according to police.
The ATV riders eventually broke free from the pursuit, gained cell service and called police.
The riders later identified the man as Coons, police said.
Coons was issued a citation to appear before Franklin County Superior Court Criminal Division on Sept. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
