ST. JOHNSBURY — Vermont State Police arrested a 44-year-old St. Johnsbury man on an outstanding warrant early Saturday morning.
Jordan Passut was taken into custody at 12:29 a.m. on Cross Avenue after troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks located him near a family member’s residence.
Passut was wanted on multiple charges including two counts of domestic assault, second-degree aggravated domestic assault, violation of conditions of release, violation of an abuse prevention order and vehicle operation without owner’s consent.
The charges include both misdemeanor and felony counts.
Passut was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on Monday at 12:30 p.m.
Passut was then transported to Northeast Correctional Complex where he is being held on $10,000 bail.
