Worcester man arrested on DWI, multiple traffic charges after property damage crash

WORCESTER — A 58-year-old Worcester man was arrested June 27 on driving while intoxicated and multiple traffic violations following a property damage accident, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael P. Mollo faces charges including driving while intoxicated first offense, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree and reckless driving.

Additional charges include aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, unlicensed operator, speed not reasonable and prudent, driving on sidewalk, moved from lane unsafely, failure to keep right, failure to stop at stop sign, uninspected motor vehicle and leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident.

The arrest followed an investigation into multiple motor vehicle and traffic violations that resulted in a property damage accident in the Town of Worcester.

Mollo was found to be intoxicated and arrested at the scene.

He was processed on the charges and later released with uniform traffic tickets and appearance tickets.

Mollo is scheduled to appear in Worcester Town Court at a later date.
