Craftsbury man arrested on domestic assault, burglary charges

CRAFTSBURY — The Vermont State Police arrested a 36-year-old man Saturday morning following a domestic disturbance on Creek Road.

Raymond Stevens-Reil of Craftsbury was charged with first-degree aggravated domestic assault, burglary, unlawful mischief and violation of conditions of release.

State police received a report of the domestic disturbance at approximately 10:35 a.m. July 5.

Officers responded to the residence and determined that Stevens-Reil had committed multiple crimes, including aggravated domestic assault and burglary.

Stevens-Reil was located by state police and the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office and arrested.

He was transported to the Derby Barracks.

The name of the victim was not released.
