ALBION — The Albion Police Department arrested a man July 2 following a walk-in complaint regarding alleged inappropriate physical contact and disturbing comments made by an adult male toward a juvenile male.
Police responded to a residence within the village and made contact with the suspect, John Buongiorne, following a thorough investigation.
Buongiorne was taken into custody without incident after statements made by involved parties and additional witness accounts, according to police.
He was transported to the Albion Police Department for processing and subsequently remanded to the Orleans County Jail to await CAP Court arraignment.
Buongiorne faces charges of forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment in the second degree.
Police said they thank the individuals who came forward and reported the matter promptly.
No further information will be released as this is an ongoing criminal matter, police said.
