ST. JOHNSBURY — A 51-year-old St. Johnsbury man was arrested Friday evening on his third driving under the influence charge following a traffic stop on Interstate 91.
Timothy Lafond was taken into custody at approximately 7:58 p.m. June 27 after Vermont State Police troopers initiated a traffic stop at mile marker 129 southbound based on numerous motor vehicle violations.
Investigation revealed that Lafond had operated under the influence, police said.
Lafond was transported to the Vermont State Police Barracks for processing.
He was later released on a citation to appear in court.
