RAMAPO — A 17-year-old was arrested on charges of weapon possession after police discovered a loaded ghost gun during a domestic incident investigation June 26.
Ramapo Police officers responded to a domestic incident at a local residence and found the teen in possession of a 9mm ghost gun loaded with eight rounds of ammunition.
The suspect was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree and Criminal Possession of a Firearm.
The individual was processed and released on an appearance ticket to the Youth Part of the Superior Court.
Ghost guns lack serial numbers and are designed to be untraceable firearms.
