Panton man cited for threatening messages to road marking company

PANTON — A 43-year-old man was cited for sending threatening electronic messages to a road marking company following routine lane work on Vermont Route 22A.

State police responded at 2:51 a.m. June 26 to a report of threatening messages sent to LD Safety Marking Corp.

Investigation revealed Jackson Buck of Panton attempted to harass the company through repeated electronic communications after the company conducted routine lane marking work on Route 22A.

Buck was issued a citation June 30 for disturbing the peace by electronic communications.

He is scheduled to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.
