ORLEANS — A 67-year-old man was cited for criminal threatening after allegedly threatening to shoot two neighbors during a dispute on Water Street on June 27.
Vermont State Police responded to the report at 7 p.m.
Investigation revealed that Roy Leland threatened to shoot Donald Sabens, 43, and Miranda Chaput, 32, placing them in fear for their lives, police said.
Both victims are also Orleans residents.
Leland was issued a citation to appear in court.
