GUILFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a 42-year-old woman on a first-degree aggravated domestic assault charge following a family disturbance Friday night.
Kelly M. French of Guilford was taken into custody after police responded to a report of a family disturbance on Sweet Pond Road at approximately 8:23 p.m.
Police determined through their investigation that French caused pain and bodily injury to a family or household member.
French was transported to the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks for processing.
She was issued court-ordered conditions of release and bail was set at $2,500.
French was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.
She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Monday at 12:30 p.m.
