UNDERHILL — A 30-year-old Jericho woman was arrested early Thursday on multiple charges including domestic assault and driving under the influence.
Vermont State Police were notified of a domestic disturbance on New Road at 12:11 a.m.
While responding to the scene, troopers located Olivia Coates in a vehicle a short distance away from the location.
During the investigation, police determined that Coates had assaulted a person at a residence in Underhill.
Troopers observed indicators of impairment while speaking to Coates and ordered her out of the vehicle.
Coates refused to obey commands and resisted arrest, according to police.
She was charged with domestic assault, DUI, attempting to elude, cruelty to child, and resisting arrest.
Coates was transported to the Williston Barracks for processing and later released on conditions.
