BOW — A 44-year-old Concord man was arrested Sunday on multiple drug and weapons charges after a police dog alerted to narcotics in his vehicle.
Joshua Davis was initially arrested for operating while a habitual offender, according to the Bow Police Department.
Officer Guilmette and his K9 Hunter conducted an on-scene investigation.
Police obtained a search warrant for Davis’ vehicle after K9 Hunter alerted to drugs.
The search yielded a large quantity of illegal drugs, a stolen firearm and a large amount of U.S. currency, police said.
Davis was charged with four counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to sell and four counts of possession of a controlled drug.
Additional charges include possession of stolen property-firearm, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, two counts of felon in possession of a dangerous weapon and armed career criminal.
Davis refused bail and will be arraigned in Concord District Court from the Merrimack County House of Corrections.
