WESTMINSTER — A 25-year-old Grafton man faces multiple charges including his second DUI offense and assaulting law enforcement officers following a single-vehicle crash on June 14.
Spencer G. Clark was arrested after Windham County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a crash on Kurn Hattin Road and found the vehicle abandoned.
Deputies identified the occupants through investigation and proceeded to a residence on Patch Road.
Clark was located inside the residence and taken into custody after deputies obtained sworn verbal statements identifying him as a suspect.
He faces charges of driving under the influence second offense, driving under the influence second offense criminal refusal, two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, violation of conditions of release and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Clark was held on $5,000 bail at Southern State Correctional Facility.
Deputies were assisted by Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks, Bellows Falls Police Department, Springfield Police Department, Golden Cross Ambulance, Westminster Fire Department and Bull Dog Towing.
Clark appeared in court on June 16.
