NEW HAVEN — Vermont State Police arrested a transient man on domestic assault charges following an altercation on US Route 7 on June 21.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks responded to the reported altercation at approximately 10:38 p.m. near the intersection with Vermont Route 17.
Through investigation, police determined Aaron D. Clements, 33, caused bodily injury to a household member.
Clements was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police New Haven Barracks for processing.
He was lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $25,000 bail.
Clements was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on June 23.
