Groton man cited for reckless endangerment after shots fired

GROTON — A 70-year-old Groton man was cited for reckless endangerment after shots were reportedly fired during a citizen dispute June 21.

Vermont State Police troopers were dispatched at approximately 5:17 p.m. to the incident involving Roy Grendler and Brett Williams, 63, also of Groton.

Upon arrival, troopers made contact with both men and conducted an investigation.

The investigation determined that Grendler had committed the offense of reckless endangerment.

Grendler was released on a citation with a court date of June 23 at 12:30 p.m.
