WILLISTON — Vermont State Police arrested a 68-year-old Massachusetts man on suspicion of driving under the influence after finding his vehicle off the roadway early Saturday morning.
Chandra Joshi of Acton, Massachusetts, was taken into custody at approximately 1:12 a.m. on June 21 after troopers came across a single vehicle off the roadway at 3294 St. George Road in front of the Vermont State Police Williston Barracks.
While speaking with Joshi, troopers detected indicators of impairment, police said.
Joshi was arrested on suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of processing, Joshi was released with a citation to appear at Chittenden County court on July 31 at 8:15 a.m. to answer to the charge of DUI.
