GUILFORD — A 58-year-old man was arrested early Friday morning on charges including domestic assault and abuse of a vulnerable adult.
Fredrick Habich of Guilford was taken into custody at 2 a.m. June 13 following a Vermont State Police investigation.
Troopers responded to a report of suspected domestic assault and senior abuse.
The investigation led to Habich being charged with domestic assault, unlawful mischief, abuse/neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adult, and abuse by unlawful restraint and unlawful confinement.
Habich was transported to the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks for processing.
He was subsequently lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.
Habich is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on June 16 at 12:30 p.m.
