CLARENDON — Vermont State Police arrested a 59-year-old man on domestic assault charges following a family disturbance early June 9.
Troopers were notified of the disturbance at approximately 12:14 a.m. in Clarendon.
Through investigation, police determined that Karl Trujillo caused pain and/or bodily injury to family or household members.
Trujillo was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland barracks for processing.
A judicial officer was contacted and issued court-ordered conditions of release.
Trujillo was cited to appear at Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division on June 9 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charge.
Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of domestic or sexual assault.
