LONDONDERRY — A 53-year-old Litchfield man died Sunday after crashing his motorcycle on High Range Road near Royal Lane.
Joshua Lane was riding a blue 2015 Harley Davidson northbound when the single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. June 1, according to the Londonderry Police Department.
Officers found the motorcycle on the ground in the woods on the northbound side of High Range Road.
Lane was located a few feet from the motorcycle and was treated by Londonderry Fire personnel at the scene.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Lane was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
High Range Road was temporarily closed due to the crash but reopened a short time later.
The incident remains under investigation.
