Police seek suspects in Glover storage unit burglary

GLOVER — Vermont State Police are investigating a storage unit burglary in which suspects stole a mountain bike, rugs and dolls.

Troopers from the Derby Barracks were notified of the break-in at a storage facility on Glover Street. Police said a man and woman cut the lock on storage unit No. 13 and stole items belonging to Kevin Brayton, 63, of Newport Town.

The stolen items include a 2004 Specialized Epic Marathon mountain bike with a black frame and red seat, two new rugs and American Girl dolls, according to police.

The burglary was reported to police on Friday though the incident is believed to have occurred May 18 at about 7:42 a.m.

Police are asking anyone with information about the burglary to contact Trooper Nash at the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks.

No arrests have been made in the case.
