Waterford police seek help identifying suspect in wallet theft, fraud

WATERFORD — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in a wallet theft and subsequent fraud.

The incident occurred on May 21 in front of the Best Way gas station on Boston Post Road.

Authorities say an individual picked up a wallet that was accidentally dropped and walked away toward New London.

The stolen credit and debit cards were later used fraudulently in the area.
