LYNDON — A Sutton man faces a simple assault charge after an incident in Lyndon on May 19, according to Vermont State Police.
Lawrence Francis Sr., 57, was cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court after allegedly assaulting Alan Brink Jr., 48, of Lyndon.
Troopers responded to a report of an assault at approximately 5:08 p.m. and interviewed Brink and several witnesses at the scene.
Francis was not found at the location or in the surrounding area at the time of the initial investigation.
Police later located Francis in St. Johnsbury on May 22 and issued him a citation to appear in court on June 16 at 8:30 a.m.
